Streams in the Wasteland Fall Women's REtreat
October 9-12 | Fairplay, Colorado
A transformative 4-day retreat to reconnect to the Lord and yourself through Holy Spirit-led healing and strengthening.
Transformation doesn’t begin with pressure — it begins with presence... and expectancy.
You know what’s true: God is good. He’s with you. He's capable of the impossible.
But you're in a season where you don't just want to know these truths...
You want to experience them —
in your world,
in your relationships,
in how you respond when life doesn’t go as planned.
You’re sick of feeling shaken when your circumstances make you doubt His goodness.
You’re ready to live from a deeper place —
with peace even here,
surrender even in the heartache,
and trust that’s rooted beyond your circumstances.
This retreat is space to receive that.
Not by "trying to get over it" or "just trusting more".
But by slowing down long enough to let the Lord meet you right where you're at.
In the grief. The confusion. The lack of understanding. In the desire to hope again.
Through unhurried rhythms, stillness in the Lord's presence and intimate community, we're expectant for God to bring you lasting hope, renewed faith and deeper freedom that follows you home.
Because when He speaks to you in a personal way,
EVERYTHING changes.
This Space Is For the Woman Who…
is seeking deep soul-shifting transformation.
✅ You want to have set-aside time to spend with the Lord not only to feel refreshed, but because you know He will speak to you and you're eager for His guidance and encouragement.
✅ You believe that healing happens in community. Even if coming into a group feels a little uncomfortable, you're willing to share vulnerably to invite the change you seek.
✅ You are ready to be challenged, invite healing and step into growth.
✅ You're eager to get out of your head knowledge and actually experience the Holy Spirit's voice of comfort, strengthening and encouragement so when you return to life, your everyday feels purposefully directed.

What to Expect
You'll feel strengthened in your faith, sharpened in your discernment of the Lord's voice and steady in your trust.
Together, we will dive into these four themes of healing:
Seen in Your Story
We start by becoming present to where you're at with yourself, others and the Lord, honestly.
Together, we'll connect the dots from your past so a path toward healing will illuminate and bring clarity for the weekend (& beyond).
Through the Holy Spirit's lead, you will embody (not just know) the Lord's love for you more deeply.
Grief + Discouragement
You’ll gently explore the places trust has been broken — where anger, disappointment, or resentment crept in when things didn’t turn out the way you hoped.
You’ll realign with God's true character as safe, trustworthy, and wanting to hold both your grief and hope with you.
God of Redemption
You'll exchange the long-held lies and hurt for God's unchanging promises and truths about you.
You will shed shame and fear that cloud your view of what God is doing. As you learn to pray with authoritative truth, you’ll begin to make room for expectancy again — even when life doesn’t make sense — and start living with a quiet confidence that God is still working.
Restored Hope
With reignited belief and hope, you will trust God's heart for you amidst the unknown future -- not only for what you want the Lord to give you.
You'll be equipped with strategies for when you feel the urge to become guarded so you can stay open to receiving from the Spirit in your everyday!
*Schedule gives you a good idea of our retreat flow. However, we will adjust as necessary for what participants are needing.
Refresh Your Heart. Reconnect with God's Presence.
You won’t leave this retreat with a spiritual high that fades by Monday.
You’ll leave with a filling of His love for you, a quieter heart, and a deeper awareness of God’s nearness in your everyday life.

Past Experiences
Michele
“You’ve helped me slow down, and this slowing down actually makes me go farther, faster which is odd, but it works."
Josephina
"I noticed a shift in connecting with my body. The mind can go wild but connecting to my body brings this form of a grounded and safe feeling.
I now have the ability to slow down, give myself permission to quiet myself and to tune into the voice of God. I loved it.”
Quiana
“I was looking at everything outside of myself for validation instead of going to God or trusting what was within me. Now, I focus more on prayer and trusting His guidance."
Michaela
"Tying my discernment to the Holy Spirit became an anchoring point, and it opened doors to lots of other things."

Get to know your retreat host!
Hi, I’m Taryn — a Spiritual Formation Coach who knows what it’s like to believe in God but still live guarded, striving, and unsure how to let Him fully in.
For years, I looked confident on the outside — but inside, I was tangled in overthinking, perfectionism, and a quiet fear of making mistakes that would leave God disappointed. I could recite truth all day long, but I wasn’t experiencing the transformation of the truth I believed.
This is what shifted everything ▶️ I came to an incredibly painful point where I knew I couldn't fix my MANY struggles on my own... so I had to let God meet me in them. Through slowing down, steeping in Scripture, and learning to tune into the Holy Spirit’s voice instead of fear, I began to experience the safety I'd longed for.
And it didn’t just change my quiet time — it changed everything.
- I show up differently in my marriage — with more softness, vulnerability, and trust.
- I parent with more presence and less pressure.
- I no longer need to overexplain or prove myself in every interaction.
- My friendships feel more mutual, not one-sided.
- And I live loved, with steady joy amidst life's ever-changing circumstances — not just with theology that this is possible.
That’s the heartbeat behind this retreat.
It’s not about trying harder to trust God. It’s about creating space to finally exhale… to be still enough to notice what’s going on inside… and to let God gently lead you back to His rest, His voice, and His steady love.
If you’ve been carrying pressure for far too long — pressure to get it right, to hold it all together, or to “feel close to God” — this is your invitation to come away.
